SPRINGFIELD – Terrence J. “Terry” O’Donnell passed away on February 2, 2025. Born in Holyoke, son of Terrence S. and Helen (Mayeski) O’Donnell. Terry is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen “Len” O’Donnell, his daughter Mary Kay and her husband Stephen Rainaud of South Hadley, and his son Terrence “Tod” O’Donnell and his wife Joyce of Broad Brook, CT. “D” is survived by his 5 grandchildren, who were all such an important part of his life. Stephanie Rainaud and her husband John Long of Astoria, NY, Danielle and Jeffrey Rainaud, both of Boston, Kevin O’Donnell of North Haven, CT and Dennis O’Donnell of Derby, CT. His is also survived by his great-grandson Declan Rainaud Long. He is predeceased by his brother Eugene, and survived by his sister-in-law Rebecca, of Westwood, MA. Terry spent his entire career in marketing and sales, starting in the early 1960s with IBM, and ending his career retiring from Reminder Publications. Terry graduated from Holyoke High School in 1952 and the University of Vermont in 1956. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Signal Corps from 1956-1958. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Terry on Monday, February 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Patrick Church, 1900 Allen Street, Springfield. Burial will be private. A calling hour will be held IN THE CHURCH on Monday morning from 10:00 until the Mass begins at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of Saint Joseph, 577 Carew Street, Springfield MA 01104 or to Jericho, PO Box 1039, Holyoke MA 01041-1039.
