Theresa A. Gross Obituary

Theresa A. Gross, 41, of Worcester, MA, passed away on December 7, 2025 after a long battle with addiction. Theresa was born in Holyoke in 1984 to the recently deceased William E. Gross III and Patricia F. Therrien Miller (Wayne) of Springfield. She spent her childhood biking, reading, traveling, going to Hanson concerts and cheerleading all four years of high school. A lifelong animal lover, she invested her time in several cherished pet birds and a pet tortoise. Theresa attended elementary-middle school at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) School in Holyoke and was a proud graduate of the class of 1998. She graduated from Holyoke High School in 2002 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Finance from the UMass Amherst Isenberg School of Management in 2006. At the time of her passing she was employed as a staff accountant in the finance department for Millbury Credit Union.


She is survived by her twin sister, Andrea (William A.) French of Holyoke; her niece and nephew, Sylvia and Dustin French; her aunt, Barbara Gross of Holyoke; her uncle, Stephen (Regina) Gross of Longmeadow; her cousins, Carolyn Gross of Watertown, Lois Baush of Holyoke and Cynthia Tomko of Johns Island, SC; and half- brothers Kyle and Troy Miller of Springfield. Theresa was predeceased by her beloved paternal grandparents, Lois C. Gross and William E. Gross, Jr. Theresa also leaves behind many close friends that she made throughout her time at school, work and various life adventures.


A service will be held on Saturday, December 13 at 10:00 a.m. in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, followed by burial in Forestdale Cemetery West, Rock Valley Road.
