Thomas Edward Corcoran, a lifelong resident of Holyoke, died unexpectedly on January 29th, 2021 at age 61. Born on August 2nd, 1959, he was the son of Edward and Mary (Cain) Corcoran. Tom retired from the Holyoke School Department, where he worked in custodial services. He operated a landscape and snow removal business with his assistant, Brendan Dunn. Tom was one of a kind. He enjoyed helping friends and customers, often clearing a driveway, hauling away junk, and raking leaves for free. He looked forward to his annual deep-sea fishing trip with brothers, nephews, and friends. He had an amazing wit and loved The Three Stooges, particularly Curly Howard, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Tom leaves family, friends (especially Randy Rivard), many senior customers, and the family dog, Cooper (whom he couldn’t resist giving too many treats), who will miss his dependability, kind-heartedness, and humor. He will be affectionately remembered as one of the “Corcoran Boys.” Tom leaves his devoted mother Mary Corcoran of Holyoke, whom he checked on every morning, and his siblings: Timothy and Kevin Corcoran, Margaret Revord and her husband Charles, Noreen Bernier and her husband Louis, and Catherine Dunn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews: Brendan, Caitlin and Patrick Dunn, Ryan Kline, Meghan Parziale, Liam and Maura Bernier, Erin Corcoran, and Casey Jolen.
