Thomas J. Grady

Thomas J. Grady, 78, of Westfield, passed away in the comfort of his home and surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Edward and Adella (Boczon) Grady and was a 1961 graduate of Holyoke High School. Tom served in the Army National Guard, and was a longtime Pipefitter for Local 104. He enjoyed fishing and cooking for his family. Tom loved his family, especially his beloved grandchildren, and his neighbor buddies. He is survived by his wife, Katherine E. (Sheehan) Grady; three sons: Timothy Grady, Christopher Grady and wife Valerie, and Kevin Grady; five grandchildren: Anna, Hallie, Colin, Jax and Riley Grady; a brother William Grady and wife Donna; a sister Susan Grady Dewey and husband Bob. Tom also had a very close relationship with his cousins, nieces and nephews, all of his in-laws, and aunts & uncles. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial for Tom on Wednesday, May 11th at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 127 Holyoke Road in Westfield. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours, but the family will greet friends prior to the Mass from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the church. The Grady family would like to acknowledge Westfield Fire Department Station 3, Baystate VNA, especially Kim, Jessica, Allison, and Angie; Baystate Hospice, and all family, friends and neighbors for their love and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Tom to Baystate Hospice, 30 Capital Drive, West Springfield MA 01089. Barry J.
