Vanessa Adams

Vanessa Adams, age 52, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 13, 2023. Vanessa was born in Holyoke, daughter of Barbara (St. Martin) Bunyan and the late William R. “Roddy” Adams. Vanessa was a graduate of South Hadley High School (Class of 1989) and was currently a sorter at the United States Post Office Distribution Center in Springfield. She was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed fishing and gardening, but most important to her was spending time with her family and friends. Vanessa is survived by two daughters: Jordan Leonard and Sophia Daniels; a grandson, Logan Lozada; her fiancé, Christopher Edge; a brother, Mark Adams and his wife Lisa; a sister, Sarah Adams; a niece, Morgan Adams, and nephew, Anthony Adams; tatante, Claire Larsen; and cousins, Greg McNulty and Barbara Stark. Vanessa will also be missed by her beloved puppy, Cooper. Vanessa was predeceased by her stepfather, Jon Bunyan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 17th from 2:00 to 4:00pm at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you perform a random act of kindness in her memory.
