Vivian also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were touched by her warmth, humor, and generous heart. The baby of five girls, Vivian grew up in South Holyoke and left school early to help care for her family. She worked for many years at Spaulding’s in Chicopee, Holiday Cleaners, and Highland Laundry in Holyoke, retiring at age 62. Known lovingly as “Mom,” “Meme,” and the “Boss Lady,” Vivian was the heart and matriarch of her family. She embraced life’s chaos with humor and honesty, enjoyed bingo and casino trips, and never missed a family gathering. Above all, she loved being surrounded by her family—especially her great-grandchildren. Vivian will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. “I love you” Harp Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at the Barry J.
