I was so shocked to hear of Heidi's passing. She was a fireball in high school and we both butted heads with our smart butt attitudes. But, at the end of the day, we'd laugh and make fun of something else together.
My condolences go to your family, close friends, and all the Dorman Class of 91....
I'll miss you Heidi...

My heart breaks for you all. Heidi and I were friends from high school/early college. She was loved and appreciated by so many. I have many fond memories of us laughing and going out together. Once I rolled her red car down my driveway and dented the front. She was hilariously mad, of course. I can still hear her saying, "dang it, Janet!!" My prayers are for you to find comfort and love in her memories.

To Heidi and her family: I send my heart felt condolences and I am extremely sad to hear of Heidi's passing. I remember so vividly meeting her in the 7th grade. Her and I became best of friends and I loved her so much. I know for sure heaven gained another angel with her. Know that I am praying for her and all of you. May God Bless you all.

Dear Greg, family and friends,
Heidi was an angel here on earth. Her short time with us was spent always pleasing others, and befriending all that were around her. She will be missed by all that knew her, and even those that just knew of her. We are sorry for all the pain this terrible disease put her through. Now we have a special angel to watch over all of us, and she is at rest, pain free. I know you do not know us but Heidi meant a lot to our daughter Kelley Vallandingham, and her husband Robert, and we feel the loss just knowing what a wonderful person she was and what an impact she made on everyone's lives. Thank you Heidi for being an amazing person. Watch over our Kelley, she will always need you. With Love...... xoxo

Heidi has always said St. Peter's and the OR team is what made her fall in love with OR nursing. She has touted her orientation to every OR manager she has met along the way!
Thanks for your post. It is amazing how much better we feel when friends sing Heidi's praises!

I am at a loss, Hedi was the most remarkable woman. I just shred a photo, It's not of her it's about her ability to see the best in everyone. She knew my love for Disney & Golf. She had the presence of mind to set the photo up with out my knowledge. In the middle of her battle with cancer, she thought of me. I truly love this photo. I will miss her tremendously She lived her life like I wish I could live mine. My deepest sympathies to Greg & Family

So sorry to the whole family for your loss. Heidi was truly an incredible person. A straight shooter, a total spitfire, a smile and personality that always lit up the room. I feel honored to have met and known her. She gave my teen daughter some advice on breast reductions and we met with Dr. Topal because of Heidi. My daughter only met Heidi once, yet it meant so much. The world isn't the same without Heidi. Love and hugs, Jeanette

Thank you for taking the time to relay such a heartfelt experience you had with Heidi. We believe she was called to her nursing profession- she loved her patients and was at her best when advocating for them and walking with them on their journeys. While her work here on Earth is finished, we have high hopes her gifts have inspired others to continue on!

Thanks so much Rae, for reaching out to us. We know better than to try and make sense of such a huge loss for us, but are overwhelmed by the emptiness. She has touched so many with her gifts and bright personality. Friends like you help me keep the faith. xo
